Don't Underestimate with Internet Advertising

The existence of Internet has already driven various changes in our lives, our way of working, studying, communicating, and doing business, and also in way of how to get greater consumer impact through advertising. These changes will surely be much greater in future, where the role of Internet will also grow greater and faster, although several advertising practitioners are sure that the changes will never wholly reduce the role of conventional media in advertising and promoting as we do it now, especially in developing corporate brand.

But, in the future, advertising will be having and using various new media, including gadgets, mobile phones and digital portable devices, as we know that mobile advertising will be growing. So, not only companies, but media buyers, marketters, should rethink their way of focusing on only conventional advertising media to new and interactive media in boosting their clients brand development and products & service sales.

Based on CNW Research and TNS Media Intelligence research, Olivier Blanchard in his blog, shows that TV and Magazine advertising are overrated, while newspaper and Internet advertising are underrated.
