AV industry leaders at InfoComm Asia 2008, largest dedicated trade show in Asia for pro AV and systems integrationDecision makers, specifiers and CIOs/IT managers in small, medium and large enterprises who are keen to adopt audiovisual technology at their workplace will be treated to a broad spectrum of audiovisual solutions this November 19-21 in Hong Kong.
InfoComm Asia 2008, the pan Asian trade show for pro AV technology and systems integration will debut with more than 250 exhibiting companies from 21 countries. This includes companies exhibiting under three national groups - Singapore, Taiwan and the USA.
Audiovisual systems are used widely in the corporate sector, most notably for business presentations but increasingly for multi-site collaborative meetings. As technology advances to offer 'true-to-life' telepresence systems, and with escalating travel costs, video conferencing facilities have become a necessary office 'infrastructure', and a tool for employee productivity.
Besides eliminating travel costs, information can be disseminated more quickly and effectively, and decision making can be accelerated. A wide range of solutions are available - from simple desktop models to high-end room-based systems.
The InfoComm Asia 2008 exhibition will showcase these solutions at a dedicated pavilion for HD Conferencing & Telepresence. The pavilion will highlight applications of high definition conferencing and telepresence technologies not only for the corporate sector but also in education and training, healthcare and government.
Ultra Active Technology, a master distributor of Polycom and working with worldwide AV vendors, can offer complete collaborative conferencing solutions, integrating AV equipment with boardroom interior design to create the right environment for power meetings. Vega Technologies, representing industry leaders Tandberg and ClearOne as well as a host of technology icons, will offer a one stop solution for corporate users. Other international brands represented at this pavilion include Vega, Keda, Yamaha, Beyerdynamic, DIS, Sennheisser, Shure, Revolab and ICS.
A basic requirement of a boardroom set-up are user-friendly projection systems and screens, such as those offered by Christie and Da-Lite, to deliver high resolution and high impact presentations. Interactive digital boards and whiteboards e.g. from VTRON and SMART Technology provide instantaneous access to local or networked sources for quick real-time update. Behind-the-scenes automation and control systems for sound, lighting, and AV equipment allow the presentations or meetings to run seamlessly.
Companies such as AMX and Crestron can lend their expertise here. Outside the boardroom, and around the office, digital signage systems e.g. from C-Nario, announce or inform about meetings and events or other happenings in the corporation.InfoCommAsia events bring together global solutions and world class technology, provide access to Asia's diverse and thriving markets, and deliver expert knowledge to industry practitioners and manufacturers.
Besides staging cutting-edge showcases, every InfoCommAsia event promises invaluable education and training, expert presentations, live pavilions and exciting networking opportunities, providing new age marketing opportunities for the global AV industry. /PR
